Last Chance to Register for Union County Fall Youth Sports

Blairsville, GA — With the June 1 deadline fast approaching, the Union County Recreation Department is reminding families that this is the final week to sign up for Fall 2026 Football, Cheerleading, and Girls Flag Football.

Parents and guardians are encouraged to register their children as soon as possible through the Rec Desk online portal at www.unioncounty.redcsk.com or in person at the UC Sports Center located at 519 Industrial Blvd in Blairsville.

Football (K-1st through 6th Grade)

• Registration Deadline: Monday, June 1, 2026

• Fee: $125.00

• Players will be placed in divisions based on their grade level as of September 1, 2026.

• Equipment fitting days are scheduled for the coming weeks (specific times vary by grade).

• Football Camp: June 8th & 9th

Cheerleading (K-1st through 6th Grade)

• Fee: $155.00 (includes uniform and shoes this year)

• Fitting days are set for mid-May through early June.

• Cheer Camp: Saturday, July 18 at 10:30 AM at the UCRD.

Girls Flag Football

• Divisions: 3rd–5th Grade and 6th–8th Grade

• Fee: $65.00

The Recreation Department notes that spots are filling up quickly as the season approaches. Families who have been thinking about signing up are urged not to wait until the last minute.
