ROBBINSVILLE, N.C. — The Andrews Wildcats’ struggles continued Friday night as they fell 56-0 to the Robbinsville Black Knights, extending their losing streak to 11 games dating back to last season. The Wildcats, now 0-6, faced a tough challenge against a formidable Robbinsville team.

Robbinsville (4-2) celebrated their third straight home victory, with the 56-0 margin marking their most dominant performance of the season. The Black Knights’ offense was firing on all cylinders, led by junior quarterback Luke Lovin, who showcased his dual-threat ability. Lovin rushed for 26 yards and a touchdown while completing passes for 56 yards and another score, posting an impressive 136.1 passer rating—his best since September 2024. Running back Cameron Allison also contributed significantly, crossing the goal line twice.

Andrews struggled to find any rhythm against Robbinsville’s relentless defense, which stifled the Wildcats’ offense throughout the game. The loss sets up a challenging path ahead for Andrews as they prepare to face Smoky Mountain Conference foe Rosman at 7:30 p.m. on Oct. 10.

Meanwhile, Robbinsville looks to carry their momentum into a rivalry matchup against Swain County at 7:30 p.m. next Friday. Both teams will need to recharge after combining for 938 yards in their previous outings, setting the stage for another high-energy conference clash.
