Andrews Lady Wildcats Edge Highlands in Thrilling 3-2 Volleyball Match

ANDREWS, N.C. — The Andrews Lady Wildcats varsity volleyball team secured a hard-fought 3-2 victory over the Highlands Lady Highlanders in a non-conference home match on Thursday.

The tightly contested match saw Andrews take the first set 25-16, only for Highlands to respond by winning the second and third sets, 26-24 and 25-22. The Lady Wildcats rallied back, claiming the fourth set 25-21 and sealing the match with a 15-11 win in the decisive fifth set.

The Lady Wildcats will look to carry their momentum into their next game, a Smoky Mountain Conference showdown against Rosman on Tuesday, Aug. 26, on the road.
