Andrews Volleyball Edges Out Murphy in Thrilling 3-2 Home Victory

ANDREWS, N.C. — The Andrews Lady Wildcat varsity volleyball team secured a hard-fought victory against Cherokee County rival Murphy High School on Thursday, Sept. 4, winning their home conference match 3-2 at Andrews High School.

The match showcased intense competition between the two Smoky Mountain Conference teams. Andrews clinched the win in a dramatic five-set battle, overcoming Murphy’s strong performance to claim the conference victory.

With this win, Andrews continues to build momentum in their season, demonstrating resilience and teamwork in front of their home crowd.

The Andrews Wildcats will look to carry this energy into their next match as they continue their campaign by hosting Hiwassee Dam on Monday, Sept. 8.
