Andrews Wildcats Fall to Mitchell Mountaineers, 38-7

ANDREWS, N.C. — The Andrews Wildcats suffered their eighth consecutive loss, falling 38-7 to the Mitchell Mountaineers on Friday night, Sept. 5. The defeat marked a wider margin than their previous encounter with Mitchell in September 2024, when Andrews lost a close 35-34 battle.

The Wildcats struggled to find their footing, dropping their season record to 0-3. Meanwhile, the Mountaineers improved to 2-1, securing a winning record.

Andrews will look to turn things around when they host the Anderson Cavaliers at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 12.
