Graves, averaging 11.0 yards per carry, electrified the crowd with a 65-yard touchdown run, showcasing his knack for game-changing plays. The Yellow Jackets’ defense was equally dominant, sacking the Blue Knights’ quarterback six times, with Will Brown leading the charge with two sacks.

The victory marks Hayesville’s third straight win, improving their record to 3-1. Over their last three games, the Yellow Jackets have averaged 32.3 points, a testament to their offensive firepower. Their recent stretch includes a 41-8 rout of Copper Basin on Sept. 5 and a narrow 21-20 win over Enka on Aug. 29.

Hayesville now turns its attention to Robbinsville, where they’ll face their first conference test on Friday, Sept. 19 at 7:30 p.m. The Yellow Jackets aim to carry their momentum into league play, with Graves and a solid defense leading the way.
