HAYESVILLE, N.C. — The 19th annual Ag Day and Tractor Parade is set to return to downtown Hayesville on Saturday, Sept. 27, offering a day of celebration, community, and classic country charm.
Hosted on the Hayesville Town Square, the event will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., with the popular tractor parade beginning at noon. Families are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and line the square to enjoy a wide range of tractors—both vintage and modern—rolling through town in a colorful tribute to Clay County’s agricultural heritage.
Ag Day will also feature a raffle and drawing for a 1951 Ford 8N tractor, live entertainment, local vendors, food, and a variety of activities for all ages.
Those interested in participating in the parade should meet at the Hayesville High School parking lot. Parade registration is $15.
All proceeds from the event will benefit the Clay County Tractor Club’s community programs.
The event is organized by the NC Cooperative Extension Clay County Center and the Clay County Tractor Club. For more information, call (828) 389-6305 or visit https://clay.ces.ncsu.edu.
