Hayesville continued its dominant season Tuesday night, dispatching the Rosman Tigers 15-5 to push its winning streak to 14 games and improve to 14-4 overall. The victory came on the heels of the Yellow Jackets’ sweep of Andrews last week, which clinched yet another Smoky Mountain Conference championship for the program.

The Yellow Jackets have been nothing short of ruthless this season, particularly in blowout fashion. Of their 14 wins, 12 have come by seven or more runs, showcasing a potent offense and the ability to pull away from opponents quickly. Tuesday’s contest against Rosman was no exception, as Hayesville put together another lopsided victory.

For the Tigers, the loss dropped their record to 5-10. Rosman has found the Yellow Jackets particularly difficult to solve lately, falling to Hayesville for the fourth straight time.

Hayesville will look to keep its momentum rolling in a quick rematch with Rosman. The two teams will face off again on Thursday at 4:30 p.m. in what will be the final game of the regular season. The Yellow Jackets will enter as heavy favorites riding their impressive streak and conference title form.

With the Smoky Mountain Conference crown already secured, Hayesville is poised to make a strong postseason run. The team’s blend of consistent winning and large-margin victories signals a squad that is peaking at the right time. Fans will be eager to see if the Yellow Jackets can keep the winning streak alive and add to their impressive resume in Thursday’s rematch.
