YOUNG HARRIS, Ga. | Young Harris took care of Emmanuel 5-0 to even the season series 1-1 (Oct. 1st). Scarlett Hirschy's first goal of the day would have been good enough to get the Mountain Lions the win, but for good measure she scored three, in the first half.

The Mountain Lions move to 4-3-2 overall and are 3-1-2 in Conference Carolinas. The Lions fall to 2-6 overall and are 2-4 in Conference Carolinas.

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:

  • Hirschy's three goals brings her total to eight goals in eight games played.

  • Sunny Bowlin-Stacy and Aslaug Bratheim scored the other two goals for YH.

  • It was a match dominated by the Mountain Lions; they put up 10 shots on goal converting on half of them.

  • The defense for YH was stellar, holding Emmanuel to just two shots on goal the entire match and zero in the second half.

  • Veronica Calixto and Emily Chavez had the only shots on goal for the Lions.

  • YH is now 8-1 all time versus Emmanuel.
