Lady Indians Fall to Red Devils 9-1

HIAWASSEE, Ga. — The Towns County Indians softball team suffered a 9-1 defeat against the Lincoln County Red Devils on Thursday, Sept. 11, marking their second consecutive loss. The game, a rematch of an October 2024 matchup that also ended in a loss for Towns County, dropped the Indians' season record to 2-7.

Lincoln County, meanwhile, continued their strong recent performance, improving to 6-8 on the season. The Red Devils have won six of their last eight games, showcasing their momentum heading into the latter part of the season.

Both teams are set to hit the road for their next games on Monday, Sept. 15. Towns County will face Commerce at 5:00 p.m., while Lincoln County will take on Briarwood Academy at the same time.
