HAYESVILLE, N.C. — The Hayesville Lady Yellow Jackets continued their dominant run in the 2025 volleyball season, securing a decisive 3-0 victory over the Swain County Maroon Devils on Thursday, September 18. The final scores were 25-16, 25-21, and 25-18, marking Hayesville’s sixth consecutive win and their second 3-0 triumph over Swain County this season.


The Lady Jackets (13-2) showcased their offensive and defensive prowess, maintaining control throughout the match. This victory further solidifies their position as a top contender in the conference, having won 12 of their last 13 matches. Their only losses this season came against Franklin (3-0) on August 11 and Cherokee (3-0) on September 2.


Hayesville’s season has been marked by consistency, with 12 of their 13 wins coming via 3-0 sweeps. The Lady Jackets’ balanced play and depth have made them a formidable force in both Smoky Mountain Conference and non-conference matches.


Looking ahead, Hayesville will face Summit Charter on the road at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, September 23, aiming to extend their winning streak to seven games.
