Lady Panthers Dig Another Victory

BLAIRSVILLE, Ga. — The Union County Panthers dominated the Andrews Wildcats in a decisive 3-0 volleyball victory on Monday, Sept. 15, avenging a 3-1 loss to the Wildcats from September 2024. The Panthers showcased their consistency, holding Andrews to between 15 and 17 points per set, with final scores of 25-16, 25-15, and 25-17.


The win bolsters Union County’s strong season, improving their record to 13-7 and marking their third victory in the last four matches. Meanwhile, Andrews suffered their second consecutive loss, dropping their record to 8-4.


Both teams will look to rebound with the support of their home crowds on Tuesday, Sept. 16. Union County faces Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe at 5 p.m., while Andrews hosts Cherokee at 6 p.m.
