ANDREWS, N.C. — The Andrews Wildcats volleyball team suffered their third consecutive loss on Tuesday, falling 3-0 to the Cherokee Braves in a non-conference matchup. This marks the second time this season the Wildcats have been defeated by the Braves, who also claimed a 3-0 victory in their previous encounter in August.
The loss drops Andrews' record to 8-5, while Cherokee's sixth straight win improves their standing to 12-6.
Both teams are gearing up for more Smoky Mountain Conference action on Thursday, Sept. 17. The Wildcats will face Rosman at 6 p.m., aiming to snap their losing streak. Meanwhile, the Braves will take on familiar foe Murphy at 6 p.m., looking to extend their winning run.
