Lake Chatuge Team Trail Sets Winter Series Schedule


Hayesville, N.C. — The Lake Chatuge Team Trail has announced its Winter Series schedule, featuring seven events across North Georgia and Western North Carolina lakes from October through March with a points championship on the line.


The series kicks off Oct. 17 at Deavers Ramp on Lake Nottley. Subsequent stops include Nov. 21 and Dec. 19 at Ledford’s Chapel on Lake Chatuge, followed by an open tournament Jan. 1, also at Ledford’s Chapel on Lake Chatuge. Additional events are set for Jan. 16 at Deavers on Nottley, Feb. 20 at Murray Cove on Lake Burton and the two-day finale March 20-21 at Ledford’s Boat Ramp on Lake Chatuge.


All tournaments run from safe light until 4 p.m.


Entry fees are $100 per boat per event, with a $25 membership fee required. The top two teams in the points standings will earn championship payouts of $500 for first place and $300 for second.
