Murphy Volleyball Defeats Robbinsville in Four Sets

MURPHY, N.C. — The Murphy Lady Bulldogs volleyball team secured a 3-1 victory over the Robbinsville Lady Black Knights in a Smoky Mountain Conference matchup on Thursday, Sept. 25, at Murphy High School.

The Lady Bulldogs took control early, winning the first set 25-17. Robbinsville battled back, claiming the second set 25-22. Undeterred, Murphy regained momentum, edging out the Lady Black Knights 25-22 in the third set and sealing the match with a decisive 25-17 win in the fourth.

The victory improves Murphy’s standing in the Smoky Mountain Conference as they prepare for their next challenge, a non-conference road match against Franklin on Monday, Sept. 29.
