Rockmart Softball Edges Union County

ROCKMART, Ga. — The Rockmart Yellowjackets softball team narrowly defeated the Union County Panthers 4-3 in a 2A Region 7 matchup on Thursday.

Rockmart improved to 6-2 with the victory. The Yellowjackets face Coahulla Creek on the road next in a region contest on Tuesday, August 19.

Union County, now 4-3, will take on North Murray (3-3) in their next 2A Region 7 game on Tuesday, August 18th at 5:30 p.m. The Mountaineers are coming off a 1-0 league win over North Cobb Christian.
