Ronn and Ankelstam Named Conference Carolinas Co-Golfers of the Week

Greenville, S.C. | Adrian Ronn and Samuel Ankelstam have been named Conference Carolinas Co-Golfers of the Week following standout performances at the King University Invitational in Bristol, Tennessee. The duo helped lead Young Harris to a runner-up team finish at the two-day event held at the Golf Club of Bristol. 

Ronn, a sophomore from Bro, Sweden, fired rounds of 66 and 68 to finish six-under par with a two-round total of 134, tying for third individually. Ankelstam, a freshman from Stockholm, Sweden, matched Ronn's score with back-to-back rounds of 67, also finishing six-under and tied for third. Their efforts paced a strong Mountain Lion squad that placed second overall in the tournament. 

The honor was shared with King University's Carles Calvo Molina, who also tied for third in the event. Young Harris Men's Golf will return to action next week at the Jay Jennison Cup in St. Augustine, Florida.
