ANDREWS, N.C. — The Andrews High School varsity volleyball team fell to Smoky Mountain in a non-conference match on Monday, Sept. 22, 2025, at home, with a final score of 3-0.
Smoky Mountain dominated the match, winning the first set 25-23, the second 25-20, and the third 25-17. The Mustangs showcased their strength, maintaining control throughout the contest and securing a clean sweep.
The loss drops Andrews' record to 7-7 for the season. The Wildcats have had a mixed run, with notable victories against Summit Charter (3-0), Highlands (3-2 twice), Rosman (3-1), Blue Ridge Early College (3-0), Murphy (3-2), and Swain County (3-2).
