ree

HIAWASSEE, Ga. — The Towns County Indians thrilled their home crowd with a hard-fought 14-12 victory over the Anderson Cavaliers on Friday night, rebounding from a road loss last week. The nail-biting win improved the Indians' record to 4-3, while Anderson C fell to 1-5, extending their losing streak to three games.

The Indians, who also defeated the Cavaliers in their previous encounter, leaned on their resilience to secure the close win. The game remained tight throughout, with Towns County’s defense holding firm to preserve the two-point margin.

Towns County now prepares for a road trip to face Spartanburg Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Warriors’ defense, which has surrendered an average of 31.57 points per game, could provide an opportunity for the Indians’ offense to shine. Meanwhile, Anderson C will have extra time to regroup before their next game against Georgia Force Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Oct. 17.
