Towns County Falls to Rabun County in Season Opener, 7-6

HIAWASSEE, Ga. — Towns County opened its softball season on the road Thursday, dropping a close contest to the Rabun County Wildcats, 7-6. The loss extends Towns County's skid to six games, dating back to last season.

Rabun County improved to 1-2 with the victory.

Both teams will return to action Monday, August 11 with home games. Towns County hosts Barrow Arts and Sciences Academy at 5 p.m., while Rabun County welcomes Union County at 6:30 p.m.
