Towns County Gets First Win in a Big Way

On Monday, August 11, the Lady Indians softball team got in the win column in a big way. Towns County defended their home diamond to take down Barrow Arts and Sciences Academy 14-2. It was the first win of the season for Towns County.
BAASA plated a run in the top of the first, but the Lady Indians answered in a big way in their half of the inning with three runs. Towns County added three more in the third and exploded for 8 runs in the bottom of the fourth to initiate the run rule.
Next up for the Lady Indians is a home game against Rabun County on Thursday, August 14th at 5 p.m. Towns County will be looking for revenge as Rabun took the season-opener 7-5.
