Towns County Softball Dominates Tallulah Falls in 10-1 Victory

HIAWASSEE, Ga. — The Towns County High School varsity softball team cruised to a decisive 10-1 win over Tallulah Falls in a non-conference match-up at home on Monday, Sept. 29, 2025.
The Indians (4-10) jumped out to an early lead, scoring five runs in the first inning and never looking back. They added one run in the third and sealed the game with a four-run sixth inning. Towns County capitalized on six errors by Tallulah Falls, finishing with four hits and just one error of their own.
Tallulah Falls (0-16) managed a lone run in the third inning but struggled offensively, recording five hits while committing six errors in the field. The loss extends their winless streak this season.
The game, played at Towns County High School, showcased the Indians' ability to exploit mistakes and maintain defensive solidity. With the win, Towns County improves to 3-2 at home, while Tallulah Falls remains winless on the road at 0-9.
The Indians will host Commerce on Tuesday, Sept. 30 at 5 p.m.
