Union County Rolls Past Coahulla Creek 9-2

DALTON, Ga. — The Union County Lady Panthers surged late to defeat Coahulla Creek 9-2 in a Region matchup Tuesday night, continuing their strong season push.
After six scoreless innings, Union County erupted in the top of the seventh, plating nine runs to seize control of the game. The Lady Panthers’ offensive outburst proved decisive, overwhelming the host Lady Colts and securing the 9-2 victory.
With the win, Union County improved to 16-9 on the season, while Coahulla Creek fell at home in the league contest.
Union County is set to travel to Watkinsville on Thursday, Oct. 9, for a non-region matchup against Oconee County. The Warriors enter the game at 7-17 following a 6-0 loss to Jefferson.
