Volunteers Needed for Murphy Riverwalk Cleanup on September 18

MURPHY, N.C. — The Murphy Riverwalk is set to host a cleanup event on Saturday, September 18, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., and volunteers are urgently needed to lend a hand.
The cleanup will take place at the Pavilion beside the Rock Gym in Konehete-Veterans Park. Participants will engage in a variety of activities, including picking up trash, painting sign posts, cleaning signs, and spraying for algae on the boardwalks.
