BOLO Issued for Armed and Dangerous Man in Cherokee County

The Cherokee County Sheriff's Office has issued a BOLO (Be On the Lookout) alert for an armed and dangerous individual believed to be in the area.

Authorities are searching for Kevin Garrett Ledbetter, described as a white male, approximately 5 feet 11 inches tall, with red hair. Deputies say Ledbetter was last seen wearing a black hoodie and pajama pants.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, Ledbetter was most recently spotted near the intersection of Fall Branch Road and Hendrix Road.

Officials are urging the public not to approach Ledbetter under any circumstances, as he is considered armed and dangerous. Anyone who sees Ledbetter or has information on his whereabouts is asked to contact Cherokee County Dispatch immediately by calling 911 or (828) 835-3144.

The investigation is ongoing, and residents in the area are encouraged to remain alert and report any suspicious activity.
