Cherokee County Hosts Second Annual National Night Out Event

CHEROKEE COUNTY, N.C. — The community is invited to the second annual National Night Out event on Tuesday, Aug. 5, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Tri-County Community College. This free event aims to foster police-community partnerships and provide an opportunity for kids and families to meet first responders.

The event will feature interactive activities for children, food and fun for all attendees, and displays of K-9 units, police vehicles, and fire trucks. "Together we are making communities safer!" the event flyer states, highlighting refreshments, child safety education, and close-up looks at emergency vehicles as key attractions.

Organizers encourage everyone to join and get to know the individuals who work to keep the community safe. Special thanks were extended to sponsors Ingles and Walmart for their support.
