Clay County Fire & Rescue to Host Expanded Public Safety Expo in Hayesville

HAYESVILLE, N.C. — Clay County Fire & Rescue will host its Annual Fire Expo, rebranded as a Public Safety Expo, on October 11, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Clay County Schools Central Office. The free, family-friendly event will feature a broader focus this year, showcasing a variety of first responder agencies and community partners.
Attendees can meet local firefighters, police officers, and other first responders while exploring fire trucks, police cars, ambulances, helicopters, and more. The event will include live demonstrations such as vehicle extrication, fire extinguisher training, and K9 team performances. Free food and children’s activities will also be available, ensuring an engaging experience for all ages.
“This expanded expo is a great opportunity for the community to connect with our local heroes and learn about public safety in a fun, interactive way,” said a spokesperson for Clay County Fire & Rescue.
The event is open to the public, and no registration is required.
