Festival on the Square Brings Music, Dance, and Fun to Hayesville

Hayesville, NC – The Clay County Historical and Arts Council, in collaboration with the North Carolina Arts Council, is set to host the annual Festival on the Square Entertainment 2025, a vibrant celebration of music, arts, and community spirit. Sponsored by the Clay County Historical and Arts Council, this free-admission event will take place from Friday, July 11, to Sunday, July 13, in the heart of downtown Hayesville.
The festivities kick off on Friday night, July 11, with a Street Dance starting at 7:00 PM, featuring the lively sounds of The Joe Average Band. Attendees are encouraged to bring their dancing shoes for an evening of fun under the stars. On Saturday, July 12, the festival runs from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, offering a diverse lineup of performances. The day begins with The Folk School Cloggers at 10:00 AM, followed by Wyatt Espalin at 12:00 PM, Rob Tiger at 1:00 PM, and Cornbread Ted at 2:00 PM, delivering a mix of traditional and modern tunes.
Sunday, July 13, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, rounds out the weekend with an Arts & Crafts Fair, Bar-B-Que, and additional entertainment. The schedule includes Colton James at 12:00 PM and Emolyn Liden and Friends at 2:00 PM, promising a delightful close to the event. Note that pets are not allowed at the festival to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all.
