Hayesville Sweeps Rosman in Dominant Conference Doubleheader

Hayesville made a statement on both sides of the hardwood Tuesday night, sweeping a Smoky Mountain Conference doubleheader at Rosman with lopsided wins by the Yellow Jackets’ girls and boys teams.

The Hayesville girls set the tone early and never let up, rolling to a 64–12 road victory. From the opening tip, Hayesville controlled the pace on both ends of the floor, turning defensive pressure into scoring opportunities and steadily widening the gap as the game wore on. The win underscored the Yellow Jackets’ depth and discipline, as they maintained intensity throughout all four quarters.

The boys followed with an equally commanding performance, defeating Rosman 61–25. Hayesville’s defense once again proved to be the difference, limiting Rosman’s scoring chances while the offense methodically built a comfortable lead. Balanced scoring and consistent execution allowed the Yellow Jackets to pull away and close out the conference win with authority.

With the sweep, Hayesville carries strong momentum back home, where the Yellow Jackets are scheduled to host Smoky Mountain Conference opponent Smoky Mountain on Wednesday, Feb. 4.
