Hayesville Volleyball Splits with Cherokee in The Hive

HAYESVILLE, NC — Hayesville’s volleyball teams went opposite ways Thursday night against Cherokee.

The JV Lady Jackets rallied for a 2-1 conference win. After dropping the first set 23-25, they answered 25-9 and closed it out 15-12.

Varsity was swept 3-0. The loss left the Lady Jackets at 11-8 overall this season.

Hayesville had beaten Summit Charter 3-1 a night earlier and Hiwassee Dam on Tuesday, Sept. 22.

Coach Tammy Dills’ group is next scheduled against Franklin on Monday, Sept. 28 before returning to conference play.
