HAYESVILLE, N.C. — The Hayesville Yellow Jackets unleashed a season-high 54 points to dominate the Rosman Tigers 54-14 on Friday night. The explosive offensive performance marked a significant turnaround for Hayesville, which managed just 10 points in its previous game.

The Yellow Jackets improved their record to 4-2 with the victory, showcasing their offensive depth against a struggling Rosman defense.

The win continues Hayesville’s strong history against the Tigers, having won four of their last five matchups, including three straight since 2019.

Rosman, now 2-4, suffered its second consecutive loss, unable to keep pace with Hayesville’s high-flying attack.

Hayesville will look to maintain its offensive momentum when it hosts Cherokee at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Oct.3. The Braves have allowed an average of 26.33 points per game, potentially setting the stage for another big performance by the Yellow Jackets.

Rosman will face Murphy on the road at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, aiming to snap its losing streak.
