HMS wins home opener over Rosman

The Jackets never trailed in their 57-30 victory on Thursday, November 6th. Hayesville took a 30-14 lead into half. With the score 34-19, Hayesville went on a 17 point run to put the game away. The third quarter was the best for Hayesville outscoring the Tigers 19-5. All 13 players contributed in the win, with 10 different players scoring.

Twelve different players grabbed a rebound, dominating the boards 39-19. The Yellow Jacket defense held Rosman to 24% shooting from the field. The win improved the Hayesville Middle School Men’s team to 2-0. Next up for the Jackets is a game at Andrews on Monday, November 10th.
