Multiple-Agency Effort Leads to Drug Charges for Hayesville Woman

On 11/12/25 around 2:00 PM a be on the lookout notice (BOLO) from Cherokee County was dispatched out for a white Cadillac Escalade traveling toward Clay County. Hannah Patrice Allen, 31 years of age from Hayesville, was believed to be traveling within the Cadillac with a 6-week-old child that she had taken without authorization.
Clay County Lt. Tyler Faggard and Officer JJ Wooten located and stopped this Cadillac at 3879 US Hwy 64 west in Hayesville. The child was located within the vehicle with Allen being a passenger. Endicia Lekiesh Lloyd, 30 years of age from Andrews, was found to be driving and had a suspended driver’s license. An open container of alcohol was found within the Cadillac. An odor of alcohol was also noted within. N.C. Trooper AG Gordon was called to the scene to deal with Lloyd as the driver of the vehicle.
Cherokee County Department of Social Services arrived at the scene of the traffic stop and took possession of the child. When asked if there was any contraband within her purse, Allen told Officers there was a “Meth Bowl”. A search of Allen’s purse yielded a baggy containing a crystal-like substance that field tested positive for methamphetamine. A bowl/pipe used for the ingestion of illegal substances was also found within Allen’s purse.
Allen was arrested and charged with felony Possession of Methamphetamine and issued a $10,000 bond for her release. Lloyd was charged by Trooper Gordon with Driving While License Revoked.
All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Now why would yall sit up there and just lie like that? It wasn’t a drug investigation! Someone said she abducted her own child and I was just the driver. I got pulled over , got a ticket for a suspended license and still drive home. They searched the car and found that in her possession. Get your facts straight before I sue this whole company for slandering.
