Murphy to Host TomatoFest with Food and Music

MURPHY, N.C. — The Cherokee County Food Alliance (CCFA) will celebrate the third annual TomatoFest on Saturday, alongside Murphy’s weekly farmers market, according to a recent social media post.


The free-admission event will feature cooking demonstrations, family activities, food, a Bloody Mary contest, and live music, highlighting the versatile local tomato. Tickets for the Bloody Mary contest judging, which includes tastings from each competitor, are $10 and restricted to those 21 and older.
