ANDREWS, NC — Residents across North Carolina will have the opportunity to receive free over-the-counter medications at a special community event hosted by NC MedAssist on Friday, July 17, 2026.

The OTC Medicine Giveaway & Community Event is scheduled for 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Community Center located at 54 Park St., Andrews, NC 28901. The event is open to all North Carolina residents, with walk-ins welcome and no pre-registration or identification required. Participants must be 18 years or older to receive medications.

Attendees can take home free over-the-counter medicines, including allergy relief, cough and cold remedies, pain relief products, vitamins, children's medicines, and additional items to support family health needs. Medicines can also be picked up for family members.
