Suches Fire Department to Host Annual Open House Saturday

SUCHES, Ga. — The Suches Fire Department Station 5 will hold its annual Open House on Saturday, Aug. 9, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., according to a recent flyer.

Families are invited to join volunteers for a close-up look at firefighting and emergency rescue operations, including trucks, tools, and equipment. Demonstrations will begin at 4:30 p.m. The event, held at 80 Firewater Lane, will conclude with a barbecue dinner courtesy of Station 5 members.
