BLUE RIDGE, Ga. — The Towns County Indians suffered a 10-2 defeat against the Fannin County Rebels in a high school baseball matchup on Monday, marking their sixth consecutive loss to the Rebels. The Indians, coming off a strong performance against Barrow Arts and Sciences Academy last week, struggled to keep pace with Fannin County’s offense.
With the loss, Towns County drops to a 1-2 record, while Fannin County remains undefeated at 2-0. The Rebels continued their hot streak, securing an 11-2 victory over Coosa on Tuesday, August 19.
Towns County looks to rebound in their next game against East Jackson at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
