Highlands opened with an 11–4 first quarter and held a 20–11 lead at halftime. Towns County gained traction after the break, scoring eight points in the third and tightening its defense, but Highlands’ early cushion proved too much to erase.

Despite the defeat, the Lady Indians showed improved ball movement and energy in the second half as they continue tuning up their early-season rotation.

Indians roll to 63–33 win in boys game

The Towns County boys seized control early and never let up, powering to a 63–33 victory over the Highlanders.

The win was one of the Indians’ strongest outings of the young season. Towns County played fast, attacked in transition, and built a lead that Highlands couldn’t match. The 30-point margin reflected the Indians’ balanced scoring and defensive pressure, which limited Highlands’ trips to the paint and forced turnovers.

With the victory, Towns County improved to 2–4 overall, picking up its second road win of the year.

Highlands dropped to 0–2.
