Towns County Tops Spartanburg Christian for Second Straight Win

Towns County made it two in a row Friday night, edging Spartanburg Christian Academy 29-22 in a non-region matchup.

The Indians, who also won the last time the two teams met, continued their strong play to improve to 5-3 on the season. The victory marked back-to-back wins for Towns County, which has built momentum heading into its late-season stretch.

Spartanburg Christian Academy, meanwhile, dropped its third consecutive home game, falling to 2-6 overall.

Both teams now enter a bye week before returning to action Oct. 24. Towns County will travel to face Southeast Whitfield County at 7:30 p.m., while Spartanburg Christian Academy will host Calhoun Academy, also at 7:30 p.m.
