Union County Gun Range Hosts First Basic Pistol Class

BLAIRSVILLE, Ga. — The Union County Gun Range held its inaugural Basic Pistol class on Saturday, Aug. 16th, introducing participants to shooting fundamentals and practical techniques.


The session began with instruction on shooting basics, followed by hands-on practice at the range. Attendees progressed from initial apprehension to confidence as they applied the skills taught. The class concluded with a session on basic firearm maintenance and cleaning.


Sheriff Dyer visited the event and addressed the participants. Organizers expressed pride in both the attendees and the staff who facilitated the training. Additional classes are planned for the future.
