HAYESVILLE – With the 2026 high school baseball season now complete, the Smoky Mountain Conference has released its prestigious postseason awards, and the Hayesville Yellow Jackets have once again made a powerful statement.
Widely regarded as one of the toughest small-school conferences in the region, earning All-Conference honors is a major accomplishment that recognizes the very best players across all member schools. The fact that Hayesville placed four players on the All-Conference team underscores just how dominant the Yellow Jackets were this season.
Jackson Sellers was named the Smoky Mountain Conference Player of the Year, capping off an outstanding season that saw him excel both offensively and defensively.
Brady Reynolds earned Pitcher of the Year honors, further highlighting the strength of Hayesville’s pitching staff.
The Yellow Jackets also secured four All-Conference selections — a significant achievement that places these players among the elite in the entire conference:
Rob Barter

Additionally, Rhett Sellers and Landon Cheeks received Honorable Mention honors.
This impressive collection of awards reflects the depth, talent, and hard work displayed by the entire Hayesville program throughout the 2026 season.
