Carol Pasco Featured as July Artist at Mountain Regional Library

Young Harris, Ga. — Carol Pasco is the featured artist for July at the Mountain Regional Library, where several of her watercolor paintings are on display and available for purchase.

Pasco’s artistic journey began about seven years ago when she joined an art community. While working in stained glass and lapidary shops, her creativity flourished, but watercolor painting soon became her passion.

Under the guidance of two demanding tutors and with encouragement from fellow artists, Pasco honed the skills needed to express her emotions through paint. She learns from the technique of each completed work and carries those lessons into her next piece.

Over the years, Pasco has won numerous ribbons in art shows and sold roughly 50 paintings to friends, neighbors and patrons. Her greatest joy, she says, comes from repeat sales to new friends she has made through her art.

The city is pleased to showcase several of Pasco’s paintings at the library this month.
