Steve Vaclavic to Perform on Hiawassee Square

The summer tradition of free music on the Hiawassee Town Square continues this Saturday, August 22 with Steve Vaclavic taking the stage at 6:30 PM.

Deeply rooted in the Americana tradition, Steve Vaclavik has managed to create his own style of music. You take equal parts Americana, Country, Rock, and Folk, mix it all up and you get an eclectic format he likes to call "Twang-Rock." His music has been described as somewhat moody and at times lighthearted with a driving, in-your-face delivery that draws in an audience.

Every Saturday at 6:30 PM, a different musical act will entertain locals and visitors alike at the Hiawassee Town Square. Come early to get a hotdog from the VFW Auxiliary Food Truck. Free concert, donations appreciated. In the event of rain at concert time, concerts will be moved into the Towns County Civic Center.
