Clay County GOP to Host Monthly Meeting, Candidate Forum and Chuck Edwards Meet-and-Greet

The Clay County Republican Party will hold its regular monthly meeting Thursday, Feb. 19, at the Clay County Community Center in Hayesville.

The meeting will take place in the second-floor meeting room at 25 Riverside Drive. Light refreshments, snacks and desserts will be served beginning at 6:30 p.m., with the business meeting scheduled to start at 7 p.m. Attendees are asked to bring a covered dish snack or dessert to share.

Republican and unaffiliated voters are invited to attend.

The program will feature Clay County GOP primary election candidates, who will address attendees about their campaigns and policy positions and respond to questions from the audience. Candidates wishing to participate are asked to contact party leadership to confirm their appearance.

In addition, the Clay County GOP will host a “Meet and Greet” with U.S. Rep. Chuck Edwards on Saturday, Feb. 21, at 2 p.m. The event will be held at West Tubing Company, located at 6175 Old U.S. Highway 64 West
