Hayesville Blanks Andrews in Season Opener

ANDREWS, N.C. — Hayesville’s boys soccer team opened its season on the road Monday with a 1-0 shutout over Andrews.

The Yellow Jackets’ defense set the tone, keeping the Wildcats off the scoreboard to secure their third straight victory in the series.

Hayesville (1-0) will host the Highlands Highlanders at 4 p.m. Monday, Sept. 8.
