Hayesville Pair Charged in Meth Trafficking Case After Search Turns Up Drugs, Firearms

Back on 08/02/25 Kimberly Curtis Allison, 42 years of age from Hayesville, and James Brandon Taylor, 30 years of age from Hayesville, were arrested in Towns County, GA for a very large quantity of methamphetamine.
Based on information from these arrests and additional historical information, Clay County Lt. Tyler Faggard, Investigator Brandon Coker, Officer Sean Stout, and Cherokee County Investigator Sean Myers executed a search warrant at Allison and Taylor’s residence located at 953 Town Mountain Road in Hayesville.
A search of the residence yielded numerous firearms, two bricks of methamphetamine, a set of scales, a big baggy containing methamphetamine, and several baggies containing marijuana. Allison and Taylor have been in custody in Georgia since 08/02/25.
On 01/13/26 Allison was charged with Trafficking in Methamphetamine and Felony Maintaining a Dwelling for Drugs. She was booked into the Clay County Detention Center under a $250,000 secured bond for her release. When released from custody in Georgia, Taylor will be charged with these same offenses as well as Felony Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted felon.
