Hiawassee Invites Community to Shop Local on November 29

The Hiawassee Downtown Development Authority and Paris

Business Center invite the community to celebrate Small Business Saturday with a

Shop & Sip on Saturday, November 29, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in downtown

Hiawassee.

This family-friendly event encourages residents and visitors to explore

downtown’s unique shops, enjoy festive food and drinks, and discover the newly

opened Paris Business Center at 73 N Main Street. Guests can pick up a shopping

passport at any participating business, and when they get their passport stamped

at all participating businesses, be entered to win a grand prize. That prize is a

boat vacation at Margarita Jack’s, featuring a one-night stay in the Tucan Terrace

Studio, a half-day Aloha Tritoon rental, and a $50 restaurant gift card (a $525

value).

Participating shops include Trailful, North and Main, Always Christmas/Hen’s

Nest/Classy Chick, Elevation Closet Exchange and Tanning, Mountain Quilts, True

Colors Pottery, and Moose Creek. The Paris Business Center will host artisan

vendors including Crowns & Creations, Chatuge Woodsmith Company,

CharliBrooks Co., Tide and Timber 706, and Paradise Painting Parties.
