The John C. Campbell Folk School held its Forging for the Future Live Auction on Saturday, November 8, bringing together artists, supporters, and craft enthusiasts for a night celebrating community and creativity. The event, held in the Keith House Community Room, featured one-of-a-kind works from the Folk School’s Centennial Artists Collection.

Attendees had the opportunity to bid on a variety of handcrafted pieces, with proceeds benefiting the Folk School and its ongoing mission to preserve and promote traditional craft, music, and art. The evening proved to be a tremendous success, raising nearly $40,000 in total.

Organizers expressed deep gratitude to everyone who participated and contributed to the event. “We are so thankful for the incredible support from our community,” Folk School representatives said via Facebook. “It was a wonderful celebration of craft and connection.”
