Model Train Show Set for Murphy, N.C., on Aug. 30

MURPHY, N.C. — A model train show is scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 30, at the L&N Depot in Murphy, featuring running model trains in the caboose and a miniature hand car ride. The event will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Attendees can enjoy displays of model trains and take part in the hand car ride, offering a hands-on experience. The show highlights the historic Southern caboose, a local landmark, alongside detailed train exhibits.
