HAYESVILLE, N.C. — The Clay County Communities Revitalization Association (CCCRA) is launching its 2026 Summer Concert Series with a high-energy performance from crowd favorite Run Katie Run on the historic Hayesville square.
Known for their roots-rock and Americana sound, Run Katie Run brings soaring vocal harmonies, driving rhythms, and storytelling that blends raw emotion with upbeat energy. Fronted by a dynamic lead vocalist and supported by a tight, experienced band, the group has developed a strong following for live shows that feel both like a celebration and an intimate musical conversation.
The kickoff concert is expected to draw a large crowd as the series gets underway, continuing CCCRA’s tradition of offering free, family-friendly summer entertainment in the community. Clay County Communities Revitalization Association organizes the annual series as part of its broader mission to promote community engagement and local arts.
In addition to live music, attendees will have access to a variety of food and beverage vendors. This year’s opening event will feature offerings from El Viejon, the American Legion, Sunny Sips, and Hayesville Brew, providing a range of food, drinks, and refreshments for concertgoers throughout the evening.
Organizers encourage residents and visitors to bring lawn chairs, arrive early, and enjoy an evening of music and community gathering as the 2026 series begins.
